Becoming an AWS Community Builder!

Happy to be a part of this program from Amazon Web Services
I got my start in cloud computing, via a first year of college lecture on networking fundamentals. I knew what cloud was, but the lecture planted a seed in me that started me thinking about cloud computing. Shortly thereafter, I set up my first Amazon Web Services account and shortly after that I freaked out that I accrued a two cent charge cause I ran a T2.Small as versus a T2.Micro instance. Over time I built up my knowledge and was able to turn that knowledge into an asset for a company to be hired by, at least twice now.
AWS has really enabled me to be who I am today in terms of my career and honestly my personality, cloud has turned into a massive hobby for me that I do in my spare time. But, I always wanted to learn more and go deeper. So, I’m super happy to share that I am now a part of the AWS Community Builder program! It’s a program designed for those out there who are learning more about AWS and want to take their knowledge to the next level, with AWS giving a helping hand along the way. I was honestly overjoyed to be added to the program, but it did coincide with starting a new job so I’ve been a bit TOO BUSY to start taking part in earnest. But, things have stabilised now a little bit and I’m hoping to start exposing myself to more technologies on AWS, which should take the form of some new blog posts in the coming weeks.
I’m so looking forward to sharing all that I learn on here!
Thank you!

I've no real claim to fame when it comes to good photos, so it's why the header photo for this post was shot by Amazon Web Services . You can find some more photos from them on Unsplash. Unsplash is a great place to source photos for your website, presentation and more! But it wouldn't be anything without the photographers who put in the work.
